Experienced Senior/Lead Delivery Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex transformational programmes and projects, including the past 8 years dedicated to NHS initiatives. Brings deep expertise in Agile and Lean methodologies, consistently driving successful delivery while fostering healthy team dynamics and collaboration—even in high-pressure, complex environments.

Proven experience across a diverse portfolio of NHS projects, including national vaccination programmes, GP systems, NHS technical architecture strategy, pharmacy systems, and emergency care solutions.

Accomplished Keynote Speaker on such topics as AI, team engagement, transformational change, strategic team focus and health conflict in business

Experience

  • Years of experience delivering on large and complex programmes and implementing best agile and lean practices
  • Extensive project management experience (PRINCE 2 practitioner)
  • Very experienced working over the entire project lifecycle (Agile and Waterfall)
  • Commercial management experience for complex relationships with contracted suppliers
  • Relentless business results focus when facilitating planning of key deliverables
  • Optimise the delivery flow of teams, including working with external stakeholders to unblock issues
  • Expertise in challenging and improving organisational processes to focus on value for the customer
  • Stakeholder management, internal (board level to front line staff) and external (customers to suppliers)
  • Advanced negotiation skills
  • Able to fully engage multiple stakeholders and negotiate the best outcomes
  • Ability to identify, develop and implement successful resolutions to business and process issues
  • Very skilled at gathering requirements using a variety of techniques (e.g. workshops, interviews, shadowing, document analysis etc.) and at the needed level (business, technical, functional and non-functional)
  • Advanced technical understanding (data modelling, database design, software design), through professional software programming experience
  • Working with Lean principles for deeper understanding and better results
  • Award winning guest / keynote speaker specialising in uncovering and resolving conflict when delivering transformational change
