Summer Marketing & Graphic Design Assistant (Freelance Opportunity)

Location: Preferably Wetherby based but open to other locations

Duration: Summer placement (with potential for ongoing freelance work)

Hours: Flexible, part-time

About Us:

Solo Search is a specialist recruitment consultancy working with innovative HealthTech businesses. We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic marketing graduate to join us over the summer to support the design of our marketing materials. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain real-world experience while building a portfolio – with the possibility of continued freelance work beyond the summer.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

– Designing visually engaging marketing documents (e.g. case studies, pitch decks, social media assets, branded templates)

– Bringing our content to life with strong layout and design thinking

– Collaborating with our team to understand brand guidelines and project goals

– Working on two immediate design projects (briefs ready to go!)

 

What We’re Looking For:

– A marketing or design graduate (or final-year student) with a passion for visual storytelling

– Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or alternatives like Canva or Figma

– Ideally able to work using your own preferred software/tools

– Good attention to detail and ability to take feedback constructively

– Organised, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
