Consultancy Client – working on two NHS Trust Transformation Projects
Involved in the PAS transformation project for an NHS Trust. Primary responsibility was facilitating the transition from Clinicom PAS to Oracle CERNER. This entailed extensive work in solution design, implementation, and testing, with a focus on integrating CERNER with various downstream systems within the Trust. The previous integration framework was constructed in Rhapsody, so undertook the task of translating and adapting, or recreating, these logics into InterSystems Iris. This encompassed activities such as installing and configuring Integration Engines, establishing and maintaining databases, providing technical support to end users, and troubleshooting system issues. Actively participated in data migration tasks and deployment efforts to ensure the project’s successful execution.
Conducted an audit of the three trusts within the targeted Integrated Care System (ICS). This task involved a thorough review of the current integration landscape and the creation of an “as-is” snapshot of the existing integration environment. The project included evaluating five integration architectures from different vendors and generating audit documentation essential for guiding informed future decisions.
