Location:  Leeds LS25

Salary:  Up to £30,000

We are currently recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst to provide application support for clients of one of the UKs fastest growing supplier of software for the social care and education management services. The Service Desk Analyst is a customer facing role which requires good interpersonal skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Essential skills / attributes:

  • Min 3 years’ experience in a Service Desk Analyst, Application Support Analyst, Technical Support, 2nd Line or 3rd Line Support Analyst or similar role
  • In depth knowledge and experience of SQL Server
  • Strong SQL / T-SQL experience and knowledge of writing queries for fixing data issues
  • Good level of 2nd line / 3rd line software / application support experience
  • Creative problem solving
  • Ability to prioritise and execute tasks

The Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for 2nd and 3rd line application support functions as part of the Service Desk
  • Investigate, analyse and problem solve Service Desk incidents, generally using T-SQL
  • Liaise and problem solve with Developers and third party suppliers
  • Install software updates to customer’s live environments
  • Liaise with customers over issues and problems
