Location:  Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Our client is an award-winning eCommerce agency based in Harrogate who are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer / Shopify Developer or Magento Developer to join their team as the company continues to expand.
You will be responsible for taking a project from kick-off to launch, liaising with the rest of the team to ensure all of the scope is implemented correctly enabling us to deliver high growth eCommerce stores. The role of Frontend Developer / Shopify Developer / Magento Developer will also include a consultative approach to helping existing clients succeed by analysing and reviewing their sites to develop a road map of improvements.
  • Approx 2 years’ experience as Frontend Developer, Shopify or Magento Developer
  • Fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Experience with templating languages (Twig, Liquid etc).
  • 2 years’ experience with Shopify Plus or Magento CE/EE required.
  • Comfortable using revision control and automated deployment tools.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Relevant experience in an agency or in-house
  • Must have the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
  • Have impeccable time management and organisational skills.
  • Be extremely adaptable to change as the company grows
  • Be comfortable taking managing fast turnaround projects and delivering them on-time.
  • Be a team player! 
  • Experience with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, Vue
  • Ensure a strong project team culture through collaboration and communication.
  • Successfully track and communicate progress and change to stakeholders and team, through clearly defined communication structures
  • Actively work with the production team.
  • Escalate overruns to the PM to resolve issues as they happen.
  • Comfortable being brought into sales pitches as a sounding board.
  • Ensure projects meet business and client needs and are delivered within the agreed scope.
