Position:  Production Operative

Location:  Northallerton


Salarybetween £9 and £10.5 depending on experience


Our client has been creating and delivering innovative, market-leading electronic solutions to their customers since 1965, across a diverse product range. They are a family-run Contract Electronics Manufacturer (CEM) with industry experience and staff knowledge spanning more than 55 years with quality at the forefront of everything they do. They are now looking for Production Operatives to join their friendly business on a full time or part time basis Monday to Friday with the flexibility to negotiate start and finish time. Duties will include:


  • Production: minimum of 1 year (Required)
  • Electronics: 1 years (desirable)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly of electronic products in accordance with work instructions, production schedule and quality requirements
  • Conventional through hole component soldering
  • Compliance with ESD protection requirements
  • Wiring and box build of electronic assemblies
  • Complete production documentation as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Knowledge and Skills

  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Capable of working to written instructions & diagrams
  • Must be flexible with the demands of the business
  • Basic recognition of components is desirable
  • Previous experience in an electronic production environment is desirable
  • High attention to detail is essential
  • A positive, can do attitude
