This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Java Developer / Graduate Developer / Graduate Java Developer / Junior Developer / Java Developer looking to learn and be part of a high calibre team of Developers. Our client is a software solutions company who work on software and web projects for a variety of national clients.
As a Graduate or Junior Java Developer you will initially be fast tracked through a 12 week ‘Academy’ programme. This is an excellent and unique opportunity open to anyone with a passion for learning, an interest in becoming a Java Developer and who wants to accelerate their career with a reputable employer. Both University Graduates and self-taught developers are welcome to apply.
Please Note - You will be employed on a permanent basis and paid a full-time salary from your first day!
As a Junior Java Developer / Graduate Developer / Graduate Java Developer / Junior Developer / Java Developer you will need to be a strong communicator, keen to learn, ambitious and enthusiastic with an interest in software or web development.
Knowledge or experience in some or all of the following is also required -
Object Oriented Programming
Agile development methods
As Junior Java Developer / Graduate Developer / Graduate Java Developer / Junior Developer / Java Developer you will be building bespoke Java solutions from scratch, using the latest technologies to create responsive and innovative applications for a variety of purposes.
Your career path will be that of a Full Stack Java Developer, liaising with UX Designers, Project Managers and the client to ensure your solution is delivered.You’ll have the support of a strong team of talented Developers to mentor and guide you through your career.
Your first 12 weeks with the company will be spent undergoing an intensive syllabus of training delivered via Agile Sprints building upon your existing skills.
Utilising a special knowledge transfer methodology to create and develop a programme that combines practitioner led training, self-learning, hands-on application development and mentoring will result in ‘project ready’ Junior Java Developers in just 12 weeks.
This covers all the key foundation knowledge and understanding, with ongoing skills and aptitude assessment in the context of Agile project delivery.
