Position: Junior Project Manager
Suitable for: Junior Project Manager / Project Officer / PMO / Trainee Project Manager / Project Support or Co-ordinator – ideally with some experience / exposure to Agile
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire (approx. 10 min walk from train station / free onsite parking)
Salary: to £25,000 + increase at 12 weeks + bonus + career progression
Our client is a successful software solutions company based in the centre of Leeds. They are looking for a Junior Agile Project Manager / Project Officer / PMO / Trainee Project Manager / Project Support or Co-ordinator to join their agile project management team. You would be working with the team delivering bespoke client software projects within the healthcare, retail and financial services sectors.
As a Junior Agile Project Manager, you will initially be fast tracked through an initial 12 week ‘Academy’ programme. This is an excellent and unique opportunity open to anyone with a passion for learning, an interest in becoming an Agile Project Manager and who wants to accelerate their career with a reputable employer.
Please Note - You will be employed on a permanent basis and paid a full-time salary from your first day!
Applications are also welcome from more experienced IT Project Managers looking to progress within agile project management (CV must evidence exposure, self-learning, understanding or interest in agile)
- Must have min 1 years’ experience in a Junior Project Manager / PMO / Project Support or Co-ordinator role
- Experience and an interest within the IT technology sector
- Previous experience in stakeholder engagement / management
- Exposure or knowledge of agile
- Project management and/or agile qualification or certification
- Hands-on experience of working on agile projects
- Knowledge, understanding and genuine interest in progressing your career within agile project management
- A passion for learning
- Excellent communication skills
Utilising a special knowledge transfer methodology to create and develop a programme that combines practitioner led training, self-learning, hands-on application development and mentoring.
This covers all the key foundation knowledge and understanding, with ongoing skills and aptitude assessment in the context of Agile project delivery.
