Salary:  £45k to £55k + Car Allowance £4,200

Our client, a specialist software provider in the health sector and is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to manage allocated projects throughout the UK.  

Reporting into the Programme Director, this is a varied role where you will be required to provide a point of contact for communication and liaison between all parties.

Experience:

As IT Project Manager the following experience is essential -

• Experience as an IT Project Manager or similar in a software environment
• Experience of working within the healthcare or social care sector (client side or NHS)
• Knowledge of Prince2 project management principals
• Experience of managing application implementations / software implementation
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders
• Experience of managing complex project plans and finding a quick resolve to issues
• Experience of working to tight deadlines and budgets

The Role

The Project Manager role will involve, but not be limited to, the following activities -

• To project manage allocated projects to customers within the UK
• To provide dynamic and creative project management skills and leadership to ensure the successful implementation of the project and that customer requirements are met in full
• To provide a point of contact for communication and liaison between all project stakeholders and the company for allocated projects
• Complete all necessary early engagement work to ensure the successful initiation and planning of projects.
• Monitor and report on progress against the agreed Project Plans, ensuring that issues and risks are raised in a timely manner and at the appropriate level
• Manage progress against plans with monthly/weekly reporting to the Director of Programmes
