Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary: To £45k                 

Our client is looking for a Project Manager who will manage the implementation of a variety of projects such as social care and education case management systems, self-service portals, mobile applications and roadmap releases. The projects will be delivered to multiple allocated customers concurrently and include day to day BAU management

You will be reporting directly to the Deployment Director


  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Project Manager, Implementation Manager or similar type role
  • Experience of project management / software implementation / deployment
  • An awareness of Prince 2 principles and methodology
  • Requirement to travel to customer sites and stay overnight on an occasional basis
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Excellent communication skills – to have the ability to communicate at all levels using a variety of methods
  • Full UK driving licence required

The Role:

As a Project Manager the role will involve, but not limited to, the following tasks;

  • Sets and manages customer expectations
  • Schedules migrations, synchronisations and installations work with the appropriate teams
  • Works with Product, Development and Technical Teams to analyse and solve issues
  • Tracks and reviews progress of software releases and resolution of issues via In-house widgets/Jira/Wiki
  • Use the JIRA systems to manage issues and forward to appropriate team for action
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to a Senior Project Manager or the Deployment Director
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships
  • To assist with cover for other PM’s during periods of absence
  • Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Prepare for project meeting and review
  • Prepare completion/milestone certificates and change control notices where appropriate
