Location:  Homebased/Hybrid - one a month minimum with occasional ad-hoc office visits to Milton Keynes or Canterbury

Salary:  to £60k

Our client, a market-leading software provider to the health sector, is looking for an experienced full stack  .Net Developer / Team Leader with experience in C#, WebAPI, ASP.Net MVC and Angular experience.  You will be working closely with the other development teams members to build scalable backend services and customer facing client applications.  This role would suit an ambitious and self-motivated .Net Developer.  In return, on offer is a relaxed, friendly working environment with excellent career progression prospects

Experience:

  • Approx 5+ years’ experience as Full Stack .Net Developer, Senior .Net Developer or Team Leader
  • Must have thorough understanding of object-oriented development using .Net (C#) and Angular
  • Must have a thorough understanding of unit testing
  • Must have thorough understanding of WebAPI, ASP.Net MVC
  • Must have thorough understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript and Typescript
  • Previous experience of working within an agile Scrum framework

Desirable:

  • Understanding of NoSQL concepts
  • Multithreading
  • Ability to trace, diagnose and improve system performance
  • Understanding of CD / Continuous Delivery concepts
  • Exposure to software development within the healthcare IT sector
  • Use of GIT for source control
  • Use of Azure platform services such as App Services and Azure Functions

The Role:

  • The .Net Developer will involve acting as a Scrum Maser facilitating Scrum events and the team’s ability to deliver on cadence
  • Coaching the development team on the latest software engineering practices
  • Assist in designing product features with the other Developers and the design team
  • Implementing background services / APIs which expose functionality for client application development
  • Implementing web-based client application and system management functionality
  • Assisting the QA and Product Teams in diagnosing issue
