EPR Product Specialist - United Kingdom - remote working

Suitable for:  EPR Product Specialist, Deployment SME or Implementation Specialist with EPR, PAS or similar clinical application experience

Location:  Homebased + client travel

Duration: Permanent

Salary:  Up to £45k + £5k car allowance

Our client is a successful software provider within the healthcare sector. They have an immediate requirement for an EPR Product Specialist to join their growing team.  The role of EPR Product Specialist is a client facing role ensuring deployments and upgrades are delivered on time, within budget and in line with client expectations and project and benefits scope, this role will also require travel to client sites throughout the UK.

Essential Skills:

• Experience as an EPR Product Specialist, EPR Implementation Specialist or Deployment Specialist with experience of EPR, PAS or similar clinical application experience
• At least 6 years’ experience with EPR software or other advanced Patient Management or Clinical Application software, having experience in a significant number of the following areas:

• Responsibility for leading the Implementation Specialist deployment activities for deployment of a module or modules at a Trust site or multiples sites
• Documentation of user guides/training guides
• Product demonstrations/workshops
• Provision of Training
• Creation of test scenarios and test scripts.
• Conducting testing and taking responsibility for approving module/modules fit for release.

• At least 2 years’ experience of PAS systems
• Experience working in or for the NHS
• Thorough understanding of the operational procedures within the different departments that make up the NHS
• Understanding of the importance of the data collection and reporting required by central government to record NHS activity
• A successful and proven track record in working to tight deadlines in a busy challenging environment
• Experience of dealing with clients and prioritising the outstanding tasks

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills both verbally and in writing
• Ability to organise and co-ordinate areas of work for yourself and others
• Self-starter with great determination and motivation to succeed
• Ability to influence, organise and plan
• Ability to work within project constraints to ensure that milestones and delivery dates are met
• Able to work away from home and willingness to travel

The Role:

• The EPR Product Specialist will work closely with and provide support to the deployment project teams to facilitate a smooth implementation of the software and any associated 3rd party integrated software solutions
• Provide onsite SME expertise when required to client /project teams
• Produce up to date deployment collateral for changes to their area of responsibility
• Undertaking workshops to train other personnel internal or customer.
• Undertake product solution demonstrations for the client clearly presenting the benefits of the solution
• Supporting the deployment project team, undertake a gap analysis exercise to identify and ensure the product solution / application can absorb all current and future operational procedures
• Working with the client, undertake configuration design workshops and ensure clear management and control of the configuration build and associated documentation
• Conduct regular reviews of the configuration build for each project and associated documentation and resolve any issues within area of responsibility
• Support product solution training as required (train the trainer & end user)
• Support the testing of new and maintenance product solution releases
• Some projects may include involvement in the development, maintenance and production of documentation relating to the use of ad-hoc data collection tools for client sites
• Assist with product solution testing to ensure fit for purpose and go live
