DevOps Engineer - Azure - United Kingdom - remote working

Position:  Azure DevOps Engineer (senior or mid-level)

Suitable for:  DevOps Engineer with approx. 2-4 years’ Azure experience

Location:  Hybrid (homebased / Milton Keynes)

Salary:  to £45k mid level or £75k senior level

Our client is a software development company that provides solutions to the healthcare IT market.  They are a ‘cloud first’ organisation and is one of Microsoft’s largest UK healthcare data customers with a variety of Azure services and technologies embedded across their suite of solutions. 

The Azure DevOps Engineer will join an experienced and cross dimensional team operating under a scaled agile framework / SaFE with access to a range of industry leading tools and plenty of opportunities to grow and increase your skillset.

The Azure DevOps Engineer will need to have a minimum of 2 years (mid level) or 4 years (senior level) enterprise experience with Azure

Essential skills:

Mid level

• Minimum 2 year’s experience as Azure DevOps Engineer
• A through understanding of Azure components including AKS, App Services, Functions, Networking, App Insights
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Solid understanding of Terraform, HELM & Powershell

Senior Level

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as Azure DevOps Engineer
• Experience of mentoring more junior members of the team
• A thorough understanding of Azure Paas components including AKS (deployment & management) API management, App Services, Azure SQL and MI, Functions, Networking, App Insights
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Solid understanding of Terraform (desired) / Bicep / Pulumi, Helm charts, Powershell / Azure CLI

Desirable

• Healthcare or Government related industry experience
• Understanding of Jira and Confluence
