Suitable for:  Business Change Implementation Manager, Business Process and Change Manager, Change Manager with software implementation and project management experience ideally with financial services / background.  Or Project Manager with business change experience.
Location:  Leeds City Centre
Salary:  £40k pro rata
Duration:  Full time 6 month temporary contract with possible extension
 
Our client is an established mutual ‘not for profit’ cooperative social enterprise. It provides savings accounts and loans for its 37k members. The members are drawn from anyone who lives and works in Leeds, Wakefield, Craven, Harrogate and other parts of the ‘common bond’.
They are looking for a mid-level Business Change / Software Implementation Project Manager to lead and manage a business-critical software implementation project which also combines elements of people and process change.
 
You will mainly be based in the head office in Leeds, however, there may be a requirement to visit any of the retail branches in and around the West Yorkshire area.
 
Criteria:
  • Business change – people and operational processes change
  • Software implementation experience (from UAT stage to go live, training and post implementation support)
  • End to end project management experience
  • Stakeholder and user engagement and management
  • Working closely with third party supplier, Board members and other members of staff
  • Financial services sector experience (ideally lending, savings related)
  • You must have excellent communication and organisational skills, be a self-starter and able to hit the ground running
  • Awareness of GDPR and compliance within financial services
Desirable
  • Any experience of  banking administration systems and  software including that used for the administration of loans and savings  would be of particular interest
  • An appreciation of the fast moving ‘fintech’ developments in financial services
  • Prince2 or similar project management certification
The Role:
  • Responsible for implementation and user adoption of new software application
  • Identify and recommend areas for organisational process improvement
  • Work with the team to secure buy in and new ways of working
  • Maintaining appropriate project plans including identifying any risks and issues
  • Currently in UAT phase, you will manage the project from here right through to system cut over / go live, training and post implementation support
  • Working with the 3rd party software supplier to agree process and timelines
  • You will have direct access to the Senior Management team and will provide regular progress reports to them and the Board
