Location:  Leeds LS25, West Yorkshire (the role is office based with the option for a degree of home working 3 days)

Salary:  £25k to £37k

We are currently recruiting for an Application Support Analyst to provide application support for clients of one of the UKs fastest growing supplier of software for the social care and education management services. The Service Desk Analyst is a customer facing role which requires good interpersonal skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Essential skills / attributes:

  • Min 3 years’ experience in an Application Support Analyst, Technical Support, 1st, 2nd Line or 3rd Line Support Analyst or similar role
  • In depth knowledge and experience of working with SQL Server
  • Strong SQL / T-SQL experience and knowledge of writing queries for fixing data issues
  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Experience of MS Windows Server
  • Good level of 2nd line / 3rd line software / application support experience
  • Creative problem solving
  • Excellent time management/ownership of personal Jira queries
  • Ability to prioritise and execute tasks

The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for 1st, 2nd and 3rd line application support functions as part of the Application Support team
  • Investigate, analyse and problem solve incidents, generally using SQL and other diagnostic tools and methodologies
  • Liaise and problem solve with Developers and third party suppliers
  • Liaise with customers over issues and problems
