Position:  Agile Software Delivery Manager

Suitable for:  Agile Delivery Manager/ Agile Delivery Lead/ Scrum Master/ Software Development Manager (with agile experience)

Location:  Bolton, Lancashire (10 min walk from train station, free on-site parking)

Salary:  to £53k + bonus

Our client is looking for an Agile Software Delivery Manager/ Agile Delivery Manager/ Scrum Master to act as an ambassador for the business using their experience of working with multidisciplinary teams to get products to market.

The Agile Software Delivery Manager/ Agile Delivery Manager/ Scrum Master is an integral role to the company and would suit someone looking for a long-term career and opportunity to grow with the company and take complete ownership of developing and building current and future software products.

Experience:

The Agile Software Delivery Manager/ Agile Delivery Manager/ Scrum Master will have:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience as Agile Software Delivery Manager, Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master or similar
• Strong knowledge / experience of a variety of agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Spotify Agile, Scaled Scrum, SaFe with the ability to adapt frameworks to fit the delivery context.
• Previous experience of matrix managing multidisciplinary teams including remote and the ability to scale agile teams
• Previous experience of developing a commercial software product
• An interest in working for a healthcare software provider 
• Competent user of Trello, Jira, Confluence, Slack and Miro or similar
• User centred design

Desirable:

• Knowledge of service design, research and design techniques and methodologies
• Understanding of security, privacy and common standards (eg APIs, design components, clinical safety)
• Any knowledge or familiarity of G-Cloud framework agreement would be helpful

Responsibilities:

The Agile Software Delivery Manager/ Agile Delivery Manager/ Scrum Master will be responsible for:

• Managing one or more agile projects typically to delivery a specific product or transformation via multi-disciplinary team
• Defining project needs and feeding these into the programme / portfolio process
• Ensuring all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage
